Child Sponsorship

We are in Sierra Leone, one of the poorest countries in the world. In the capital, a bustling activity reigns. In the market and small shops, goods are enthusiastically offered for sale. Youths and children walk around with baskets on their heads to sell their wares. Here the rule is: no trade, no food and drink.

While we wait to buy supplies for the first-aid post, an old man approaches us. He speaks about "the Way, the Truth and the Life". Amazed, we listen to him and try to strike up a conversation. He is one of the few in this Muslim-dominated city who has heard about the Lord Jesus. It is precisely here, and in the small villages of Limba, Malal and Makolo, that Njalowei Foundation can put its resources to work spreading the Gospel.

Currently, 44 students are being trained with teaching material from the NET Foundation, guided and advised by Rev. N. Ude. There is also a partnership with the Nigeria Reformed Church, a sister church of the Reformed Congregation.

Njalowei Foundation is also active in education for children (two schools and an orphanage), medical support, and food and water provisions.
