Njalowei devotes itself, awaiting the blessing of the Lord, to spreading God's Word among the very poor population of Sierra Leone.
Who is Njalowei Foundation
Njalowei Foundation was established in 2021 with the aim of proclaiming the Gospel among the poor population of Sierra Leone. In this West African country, which is among the poorest in the world, the foundation sees it as its calling not only to evangelize, but also to provide support for the population's basic needs.
Njalowei works intensively together with the Nigeria Reformed Church. This independent sister congregation of the Reformed Congregations emerged from the mission work of the Reformed Congregations' Mission Board in Nigeria. The partnership focuses in particular on the proclamation of God's Word and the promotion of reformed theological education in Sierra Leone.
All activities of Njalowei Foundation are based on the Bible as God's infallible Word and are in agreement with the reformed confessional documents:

- The Belgic Confession
- The Canons of Dort
Njalowei Foundation supports the work in Sierra Leone by raising financial resources and making them available for evangelistic work, theological education and primary relief.
With this commitment, Njalowei wants to contribute to the spreading of the Gospel and to practical help for those living in difficult circumstances. In doing so, the foundation looks forward to the blessing of the Lord, aware that all work can only bear fruit when He chooses to bless it.
Mission
Based on God's Word and the reformed confession, Njalowei wants to contribute to the proclamation of the Gospel in Sierra Leone. Independently and in partnership with local churches, we support evangelistic work, Christian education and projects that provide for people's daily needs.
We long for people to be reached with the Word of God, to come to know Him, and to place their hope and trust in Christ. Just as a drop of water falling into water causes ever-widening ripples, so we hope and pray that the Gospel of free grace may spread: from heart to heart, from family to family and from community to community.
In dependence on God's blessing, we devote ourselves to building up His Kingdom, praying that the work may bear fruit to the honor of His great Name.

Remuneration policy and spending
The foundation has no profit motive. The foundation receives funds from, among others, individuals and companies, who provide these funds trusting that the work, in accordance with the mission, vision and core values, takes place in an honest, careful and responsible manner.
All those involved (board, volunteers, partners) are required to sign and carefully observe the house rules and integrity code of conduct. The income received is spent in accordance with the objective as set out in the articles of association (article 2). The foundation does not hold more capital than reasonably needed for the continuity of the planned activities.
Board members and volunteers do this work unpaid; the costs of project trips (visa, flights, accommodation, food and drink, etc.) are borne by the traveler themselves, or they raise funds for this themselves.
The board works openly and transparently about the expenses spent on the project and strives to ensure that expenses made locally are accounted for, among other things through invoices and images of the project's progress. The foundation's goal is that at least 95% of all income is spent on the projects.
