Bible Transport 2022
1,000 Bibles and 2,400 Bible reading booklets, donated by the Gereformeerde Bijbelstichting, arrived in Sierra Leone.

Another Bible transport in 2022!
At the Eben-Haëzer school in Rhenen, all the pupils worked hard to raise money for the Gereformeerde Bijbelstichting (Reformed Bible Society) to donate Bibles to, among other places, Sierra Leone. Thanks to this wonderful campaign, the GBS made 1,000 large-format English Bibles available to Stichting Njalowei.
The transport
Once again it was possible to transport the Bibles to Sierra Leone via the onion trading company Jonika. Because delivery of the Bibles was delayed, it looked at one point like things would go wrong, since the ship was due to depart on a fixed date. But the ship itself was delayed by a week, allowing the Bibles to still make the shipment after all. Once again, a clear sign of God's providence.
On Friday 11 February, a container full of onions together with the pallet of Bibles and literature departed from the port of Antwerp towards Africa: 500 English Bibles, 500 Arabic Bibles and 2,400 Bible reading booklets.
So the LORD inclines the hearts of whom He will, to bring His Word wherever He will.
Receiving the Bibles
It had long been the wish of Daniel and the board that every pupil would have their own Bible. Great was the joy and wonder when this shipment arrived on Friday 25 March. A few days later we received footage of all the children receiving their own Bible. It touched us deeply to see how the Bibles and Bible reading booklets were received with singing.
To everyone who contributed to making this transport possible, we say a heartfelt thank you!
