Bible Transport 2024

The heart of the work is sharing the Gospel and proclaiming God's Word in Limba, Malal, Rochen and the surrounding villages. Only the Gospel can bring real, lasting change in the hearts of the people in these villages. Prayer for the powerful working of God's Spirit is indispensable in this.

Bible Transport 2024

Recently another transport of Bibles and literature arrived for the evangelism work in Sierra Leone. The sea container of onions also contained pallets with 1,450 English and 350 Arabic Bibles, together with 1,600 Bible reading booklets about various stories, such as creation, Adam and Eve, the life of Joseph and the apostle Paul. These Bibles and booklets are intended for the various projects in Limba and Malal.

All these Bibles and booklets were made available free of charge by the Gereformeerde Bijbelstichting. A primary school in Veenendaal held a lovely campaign last school year for the GBS and raised money for Bible distribution in Sierra Leone.

The precious cargo was shipped by Jonika B.V., who again wished to do so without charging any costs for it. A volunteer was willing to bring everything from the GBS in Leerdam to Jonika in Zeeland.

Part of the shipment is also intended for Liberia, the neighbouring country of Sierra Leone, where we are in contact with a pastor. Together with a few other people from his area, this pastor is taking part in online training for pastors.

To everyone who contributed to making this transport possible, we say a heartfelt thank you. As a board, we again experienced this as an open door. He brings people to the Word, or the Word to the people.
