Two important facilities in Malal

In Malal, alongside the school, Njalowei has realised two important facilities that contribute to the wellbeing, health and safety of the children: a toilet building and a house that serves as a medical reporting post.

A safe and hygienic toilet building

The new toilet building enables pupils to use sanitary facilities in a safe and hygienic way. Good hygiene is of great importance for children's health and contributes to a pleasant learning environment. Thanks to this facility, comfort is improved and the risk of disease is reduced.

A house as a medical reporting post

Alongside the toilet building, a house has been built with an important social and medical function. This house serves as a reporting point for children who are ill or facing special circumstances.

Also a manse for two families

The house also has a dual purpose. It also serves as a manse for Jeremiah and his family and for Livinus and Dorcas, who work as an evangelist family in Malal. As a result, there is almost always someone present who can offer a listening ear and provide support.

Cooperation with the first aid post

For medical care, we work together with the first aid post in the area around the village. When additional or professional help is needed, children can quickly be referred to the right care providers.

Serving the whole of Malal

This facility does not only serve the school. Residents of Malal can also turn to it when an emergency situation arises. Njalowei actively supports this care, making a valuable contribution to the health and wellbeing of the entire community.
